How did OnHerDeen Clothing come around you may ask?
Well i come from a Catholic Background with Irish decent. I would of never thought I would become a muslimah ever in my lifetime.
But Alhamdulillah Allah guided me in one of the most difficult times of my life to islam ☪️ back in 2012.
I'm not going to lie it's been one heck of a bumpy ride with a non-Muslim family but I've always been a person up for a challenge.
The inner peace was amazing everytime I hit the pray mat I never got this feeling from church.
As time went by and I attend more sister circle more islamic talks I want to become more modest not just in my dress but my character as well over the years I went from hijab and Western Clothing to baggy Clothing, abaya scraf.
Then one day search around the Internet I came across the jilbab and wow I feel in love ❤️ 😍.
I order two different ones from the UK and one from France. In black and light grey.
Now don't get me wrong they was nice but they just didn't quiet fit the face and neck properly without exposure.
And damm they were expensive.
In the moment I thought I used to love designing my own fashion for years, but now that type of fashion was inappropriate for me, so sure I can start designing modest fashion.
And that's where it began I love colour I was always a colourful person before reverting from hair to shoes and outfit.
I took 3 months to design and get perfect measurements for my perfect jilbab , now I want to empower other muslimah and mini muslimahs, I and my two younger children all reverted to islam together I personally think it's a beautiful experience when your mini me can experience modest attire together.
This is why we are passionate about bringing twinning modest fashion for women and their mini me
